Review of most watched season in the world

The Year is 2020 and quarantine days are going on so I decided to watch Ertugrul Ghazi. In my opinion one of the best Season or serial so far. This series has given me a deep appreciation of the culture and Muslim faith around which it is based and the trials and tribulations that tribes and people of that time period in history endured. I have felt the pain, the disgust of deceit and corruption in unjust systems perpetrated by power hungry individuals, the joy in triumphs, the grace and determination of always battling for a much higher power that gave them the strength and commitment to endure.
Publicity poster of Dirilis: Ertugrul [Resurrection: Ertugrul], a Turkish dizi which Prime Minister Imran Khan would like all Pakistanis to watchIt was released in 2014 with 5 seasons and numerous episode but it become a phenomenal hit in 2020. Let us talk about the plot, the series revolve around a group of Turkish tribe called Kayi tribe and the main protagonist is Ertugal son of Suleiman Shah along with his Alps mounts on a journey of Holy war. The stories continue in which the main characters fought through schemes, internal conflicts, wars with crusaders, Mongols, and other tribes. It brilliantly show the foundation of Ottoman Empire and how the Muslims embark on their journey from being a handful people to biggest empire in the history who ruled for 800 years. The character which I admire the most is Sufi Ibn Arabi brilliantly played by American-Turkish actor Osman Soykut. The season shows values, brotherhood, culture and morals of Islam, how a Muslim should be in practicing Islam and he is uttermost faith in All Mighty. Another aspects is how women are displayed in it, besides being beautiful they are shown as powerful leaders, mothers, and warriors in time of war. Its shows the women sacrifice is greater than the men fighting in war. The romantic aspect is all also pure women are full dressed, no nudity, no pornographic content of any kind as compared to GOT. The main problem which can be see till now is no unity among Muslims, everybody considers themselves superior or wants to maintain their hold over another. In most countries it is banned and guess what most of them are Islamic countries. In their perception it is showing Turkish culture and consider a threat to themselves for the same reason as shown in season disregarding the concept of Islam its displays. The season is available on YouTube, Netflix as resurrection ertugrul, and currently running on PTV channel in Pakistan with Urdu translation. Please don’t compare it with Game of thrones it is not fictional that shows magical creatures or supernatural it is based on true historic events of an empire that lasted for centuries. My recommendation is that everyone should watch it not only Muslim but also non-Muslim to truly understand Islam which is miss presented to them.
